Acting on recommendations in the Mind the Gap report (2022), a number of task-and-finish groups were created to explore more deeply particular issues affecting the advice workforce development crisis.
Funded by the National Lottery Community Fund, these T&F groups are solutions focused and are able to commission fact-finding and research work, for example to highlight effective existing approaches to recruitment or capacity-building issues, or better inform both sector and funders on specific topics such as pay structures and conditions.
