our partners

The programme is overseen by a Steering Group of 21 partner organisations, from front-line advice providers embedded within the communities they serve, to funders and membership or umbrella bodies. Find out more about the Steering Group here.
A number of steering group members are also involved in the Propel-funded projects which are exploring innovative approaches to recruitment, training, progression and retention within the advice sector.
In November 2023 we appointed Advice Services Alliance with Phil Jew Consulting Ltd as the programme’s Learning Partner, dedicated to drawing out key learning generated by the projects. Funded by the Paul Hamlyn Foundation, the Learning Partner will produce six-monthly progress reports which will be available in our resources section.
The task-and-finish groups, set up to take a deeper look at particular advice workforce issues identified by the Advising Londoners and Mind the Gap reports also contain members of the Steering Group, as well as representatives from the Propel projects and people and organisations who are not otherwise involved in the Advice Workforce programme but have joined us because of their knowledge and expertise.

We are proud to have a rich and diverse range of partners involved at all levels of the Advice Workforce Development Fund.
